Assassin's creed 5 -fraternity- by Asahisuperdry Assassin's creed 5 -fraternity- by Asahisuperdry
concept art for an assassin chara in a french revolution setting . :)
ONE thing though , you may or may not like AC series but you got to give them kudos for being the only franchise who bring back old cities that will never exist anymore and whose last vestiges we keep destroying . I feel that Ubisoft has at least save something of our cultural heritage , not only cities buts costumes , ambiance and the possibility to just walk in those street as if you belong there ... it's pretty awesome when you think about it :)

WWWHHHHHHHHHAAAAAATTTT........

So a few years ago I wrote a rogue character, and i had trouble describing him to artists and other people.... but this... it amazing! Like... stunning. Best AC character I've seen so far.

Since you are doing Ubisoft work, you probably don't do commissions huh? Haha.... that makes me sad but you'r art is so good it makes me happy. So... it's about even I guess. :P

It is a good design, but perhaps a bit too much symbol, take it off the boots and it would look better.

i'm with you on that one :) i love what they do in terms of diversity of culture and races in gaming, and i mean nobody ever captured the feel of damascus or jerusalem in a game before Ubisoft did with AC...i for one don't think they are milking the franchise, instead are exploring all things we never thought were possible...i love this concept btw it's truly brilliant :)

Awesome picture...an assassin as a nobleman might not be the best for running up walls and getting into open combat, but you can't fault him for looking awesome.

More awesome than the picture, though, is the props you give to Ubisoft.  You're entirely right...I doubt that we'll ever see a history teacher using one of the AC games as a teaching aide, but they certainly bring history to life.

Awesome job. I wonder if there ever will be something like "Assassin's creed - Shadows of the reich" that takes place during WW II, or "Assassin's creed - Comrades of the blade " that takes place in the USSR? :D

ha well i am sure sooner or later they will come to it but i would rather them avoid too much gunfight and getting too close to our era , i think WW1 era is the max they should go because it had still a  good balance guns/sword ... guns being a bit crappy ...

Thats a neat idea, and I love how you came up with a costume idea. I think it looks great! Maybe if Ubisoft does do a french revolution setting they should take some inspiration in your idea :)

haha exactly my thoughts when i was doing the small logos XD , i mean Templar were better at hiding , a bit better , they could so easily spot an assassin " hey look this guy as an enormous belt buckle in the shape of the assassin logo" XD thanks haha

Not only do they logo everything, the secret order of assassins has a freaking uniform. Why, no, no reason you should pay any attention to the man in the BRIGHT WHITE HOODED COAT.

As long as they have a Japanese themed installment with ninjas and samurai and all that good stuff I will be happy.^^

i would rather not , Japan do not have much tall building ( earthquake and all ) at this era , so we may actually hace the AC3 feeling where u got nothing impressive to climb , i dunno medieval japan is overused i may actually not enjoy it that much imo :)

Who knows, maybe they will do a time jump and have a NeoToyko/cyberpunk look in Japan with skyscrapers and ninjas and samurai with super powers in the form of altered computer programs and a hacked/modded Animus system and the like.^^

They need to take more time with each release though, as they are falling into the COD problem of annual releases and its causing the series to become stale.

yeah i am a bit afraid of that , though i think they will do something like AC2 -> brotherhood -> Revelation  , it's 3 titles so 3 years to follow the story of one chara , meanwhile it gives them time to create a new original AC , with new chara, new story new setting ... let's say that a really new AC will come every 2-3 years , in between would be more development of story of same char ..that's how i see it ... it would make sense.

Yeah, I thought that they would do that after AC3 but then we got wind of Black Flag. I was late to the party in getting AC3 (waited until December as opposed to October) but even by then they had already jumped to the next title. Hopefully they will get Black Flag out there and settle into a 2-3 year cycle. By then the next gen of consoles will be out and hopefully they will feel compelled to improve the quality of the gameplay and take advantage of the better hardware.

Imo, the best thing they did with AC3 was drop Desmond like a hot potato. I dont like it when they kill characters off but Desmond was by far the weakest element of the last three titles. It would be cool to see a main character from the Templars. As it is, they are just the faceless antagonists that are evil but the best stories are ones where there is validity in both sides of a conflict. Right now, the Assassins are filled with righteous fury and there is no weight to killing enemies in the game. There is very little conflict in interest of the main characters.

Meant to do this earlier but +watch^^.

mmh i dunno the Desmond story was starting well in the 1st one but then they totally screwed it up , most of the thing we learn in AC1 and 2 just turn totally irrevelant in the sequels " oh yeah you were looking for some apples , but actually we don't care about your damn apples anymore " like WTF ... so yeah it makes the story totally useless ...
It's a good idea the Templar point of view , i actually like those break when we come back to the real world , it gives a nice flow to the whole game and avoid getting bored too soon .
As for Black flag i see it as a continuity of AC3 like same timeline ,almost same setting but with a big emphazise on naval warfare , same mechanics , open world with nature elements like rocks , forest  ... Plus connor and this new guy i keep forgetting the name are related so i think it fit with the idea of sequel somehow ... imo if not storywise at least game mechanic wise :)

Thanks :)

clothing looks highly aristocratic, you don't think an angry peasant mob would try to take him to the guillotines? On the other hand though, assassin outfits after Revelation don't make too much sense anyway. Cool design though
